Gary Dunay is a partner in the firm’s Real Estate practice group. Gary has a sophisticated practice with extensive experience in complex real estate transactions for over thirty years. Gary represents builders, developers and financial institutions, as well as many national and international companies throughout the State of Florida and around the country. Gary handles all aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisition, construction, development and financing of real estate projects. Gary’s clients are involved in a wide variety of real estate projects which include regional malls, apartment complexes, office buildings, large residential communities, hotels and other income producing real estate ventures.
Gary was formerly an Associate General Counsel for Arvida Corporation in Boca Raton, Florida, where he worked on such projects as the Arvida Park of Commerce, the development of Weston, Boca West, Broken Sound, Sawgrass and Long Boat Key in Jacksonville, Coto de Caza in California and the Town Center Mall acquisition and expansion in Boca Raton. As a partner at Broad and Cassel in Boca Raton, Florida, Gary represented such companies as Trammell Crow and Altman Development, as well as other developers of regional shopping centers and large multi-family apartment complexes. In the early 90’s, Gary was President of Monogram Building and Design, the leading luxury home building company in South Florida. Most recently, Gary was a partner at Siegel, Lipman, Dunay, Shepard & Miskel, LLP, in Boca Raton, Florida and continued to represent developers, builders and entrepreneurs on a variety of complex real estate transactions including acquisition, redevelopment and financing.
